In a revolutionarily simple example of waste-efficient packaging, Norwegian carton producer Elopak has developed the Pure-Pak. This flexible and foldable carton aims at allowing consumers the ability to squeeze all product out of the container to reduce waste. Chris Schönig, director of global marketing at Elopak said,
“Elopak’s goal is to consistently improve its packaging solutions to meet current needs in terms of appearance and functionality, as well as cost and flexibility.”
In addition to its functional purposes, the carton design also features different tactile feels across the container and a smooth, rounded front for a prime print area.
