Unilever and P&G Face Deceptive Packaging Lawsuits

Based on claims that the packaging of Unilever and Procter and Gamble’s deodorants do not accurately reflect the amount of product inside, two different lawsuits were filed by two different people in New York. Both are class action complaints and will be represented by the Lee Litigation Group, stating “the size of the container in comparison to the actual deodorant stick makes it appear to the reasonable consumer that they are buying more than what is actually sold” in reference to nearly 3 inches of unfilled space within the deodorant stick. The specific products mentioned in the packaging lawsuits are Gillette Odor Shield Invisible Solid, Old Spice High Endurance Invisible Solid, and Old Spice Classic anti-perspirants and deodorants.
