To bring its new men’s weight loss supplement, Instant Knockout, to the forefront of a crowded field, Roar Ambition made packaging a key element of its success strategy. In collaboration with bottle design/development firm TricorBraun and branding agency Robot Food, the company developed a package that brings the “knock out” theme to life. The concept: a clear plastic bottle molded in the shape of a clenched fist.  It displays the bright red capsules inside, unobstructed by a traditional label. The bottle is branded with its ‘K’ logo embossed on the bottle and printed on both the cap and a hang-tag.

Robert Parker, owner of Roar Ambition, said in an article published in Package Design Magazine:

“My goal for Instant Knockout was to make it the number one fat-burning supplement on the market for these men. We had spent many months creating, researching and testing a very effective formula, and I wanted branding and packaging that delivered the same impact as the formula.”

“The TricorBraun designers and I spent a lot of time talking about what was possible and they would then consult with the bottle blower. I was very keen to get the bottle perfect, even if it would delay the project. We were pushing the limits of design and blow molding capability,” said Parker.

Roar Ambition is based in the UK and is marketing Instant Knockout globally online. Sixty to 65 percent of its sales are to the US.
