Sierra Mist has rebranded before and is currently changing its formula and design. The new packaging for PepsiCo’s 14-year-old lemon-lime soda includes a font change to the “M” in Mist to resemble two mountains. Additionally, the can’s photorealistic lemon, lime, and splash design will be replaced by more simplistic green, white, and yellow circles. The formula relaunch and rebrand includes replacing some of the soda’s sugar for stevia, which will result in a 20% calorie reduction for an 8-ounce serving. These changes are part of Sierra Mist’s new “Make Interesting Happen” campaign.
