PackEx Toronto will take place June 16-18 at the Toronto Congress Centre. According to event organizer UBM Canon, PackEx is Canada’s premier business acceleration event presenting packaging, material handling, and logistics solutions.
This year’s conference topics include 3D printing and additive manufacturing; industrial automation; integrated quality management; and troubleshooting dust, flow control and conveying.
The event features the PAC summit, presented by PAC, Packaging Consortium. This year’s PAC summit speakers include Sandra Farwell, Vice President, Brand Management & Private Label, Walmart Canada; Mary Dalimonte, Senior Vice President of Merchandising and Commercial Programs at Sobeys; and Jason Wadsworth, Sustainability Manager at Wegmans. Session topics include the redesign of grocery stores with food halls, creative private label designs and food and packaging waste optimization designs.
New to this year’s PackEx Toronto is speed networking, which will take place on Wednesday, June 17 at the center stage theater and will be included with expo or conference registration. Also new to 2015 are Innovation Tours—tours of the show floor guided by an industry expert. Tour topics include Advances in Robotics, Packaging, and Powder/Processing.
