Bosch Packaging Technology is ready to unveil its new PME mandrel wheel packaging machine. Bosch designed the machine to conserve packaging material and manage a wide variety of packaging designs and sizes.
The company said that the machine can handle a variety of packaging materials, including paper, cardboard and film. Bosch said that the machine can also process combinations of materials.
According to the Germany-based company, the new machine can handle package sizes from 30 grams to 2.5 kilograms, as well as a wide variety of new packaging shapes and styles, including cube-shaped packaging and top closures.
Bosch said the PME mandrel wheel packaging machine uses little space and can achieve an output of up to 100 packages per minute. It also features an optional inline weighing system that provides a high degree of accuracy, the company said.
According to the company, the machine’s dosing technology allows for more precise filling and less product waste. Users can customize the machine’s storage capacities and logistics processes.
Bosch will unveil the modernized PME mandrel wheel packaging machine at FachPack 2015, September 29 to October 1, in Nuremberg, Germany. The company plans to demonstrate various pack styles for dry, free-flowing goods on the new equipment.
