A new smart packaging prototype called the ClickStick aims to make deodorant “more fun and effective.”
Two Princeton graduate students created this electric deodorant packaging using a “magic button” for less mess. By pressing the button once the stick is in place, the ClickStick releases a set amount of contents without staining clothes.
The ClickStick also ensures the same amount of deodorant is dispersed with each click doing away with over- or under-application.
Additionally, the deodorant container is reusable to save on plastic waste. Users can order refills using an online app.
The inventors are seeking financial backing to turn the prototype into a reality.
