Portland, Oregon-based Stumptown Coffee Roasters has revealed a new package design for their line of cold brew products. Designer Andy Morris and his Chandelarrow Design Co.—also in Portland—refreshed the brand’s identity and packaging.

Chandelarrow referenced earlier designs from the coffee brand while creating the new packaging. The design company took past color palettes, substrates and production techniques from former Stumptown packaging into consideration for the new design.

The new packaging features rich colors including brown, burnt orange and tan. Chandelarrow used earthy colors not only to associate the design with coffee, but also to reference the remote areas from where the company sources its coffee beans.

The design contains two fonts—a serif text and a cursive—which both appear on the package’s centered oval label. The label also features the brand’s horseshoe logo.

The new design appears on Stumptown’s original Stubby bottle, Cold Brew with Milk Cartons, Cold Brew Nitro cans and shipping boxes.
