North America’s largest seafood trade show, Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America (formerly the International Boston Seafood Show/Seafood Processing America) is set for March 15-17 in Boston, MA.
The event will draw 20,000 buyers and suppliers of fresh, frozen, packaged and value-added seafood products, equipment, and services from more than 100 countries. Exhibitors and attendees will include seafood packaging professionals.
A panel discussion on new government regulations/recommendations regarding illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing is an event highlight. Bruce H. Andrews, Deputy Secretary U.S. Department of Commerce, will deliver an announcement from the Presidential Task Force on IUU and Seafood Fraud.
The National Fisheries Institute sponsors the exposition, which is co-located with the New England Food Show. The exposition is produced by Diversified Communications, a leading seafood industry exposition and media company.
