Produce News reports that Duda Farm Fresh Foods in Orlando, FL, has reinvigorated the radish with an appealing package design.

The company has created three exclusive new cuts for its “Radishes Reinvented” line: whole, sliced and “mini sticks.” The upright-standing packages use mostly clear packaging with a black text background and neon accents. Of note is the promise of a 17-day shelf life.

Nichole Towell, marketing director for Duda Farms says,

“Our packaging was designed by consumers. After extensive research and testing, our new fresh-cut radish package design reflects what consumers most identified with. They love the black package and contrasting colors. Top mentions focus on the new packages being fresh, healthy and convenient.”
