Huntersville, North Carolina-based Driven Racing Oil has launched a new custom product packaging design for its motor oil products. The company, which manufactures high-technology lubricants to optimize the engine performance of racing cars, decided to refresh its packaging to distinguish its products from other motor oils. TricorBraun, Driven’s current bottle provider, assisted with the new design.

The new bottle’s “D” shape mirrors the “D” in the Driven Racing Oil name. The label features a bright orange logo and follows the D shape of the packaging. The bottle’s bright orange custom closure was designed to help the package stand out on the shelf.

The package’s size allows it to be filled as a quart for the U.S. market, or as a liter for overseas markets. The design also features a 38-millimeter neck orifice instead of the 28-millimeter orifice found on traditional oil bottles in order to create a smoother, quicker pour.

“The result is, we now have a unique bottle design that projects our quality image and a single bottle that we can use for all of our products in all of our markets,” said Driven Racing Oil owner Lake Speed, Jr.
