Nestlé’s new Coffee-mate 2GO concentrated creamer features a custom packaging design. Nestlé collaborated with Zeller Plastik, a unit of Global Closure Systems (GCS) to design a dispensing closure that stays securely closed to prevent messes.

The team designed the closure’s silicone valve subassembly to dispense the product in a straight direction and allow the consumer to control the flow and ebb of the product. The designers incorporated full-body shrink-sleeve labeling to add to the package’s on-shelf appeal and tamper evidence.

The creamer’s flip-top polypropylene closure opens at a full 180 degrees to provide “a clear view of the target for product dispensing, with less risk of lid interference during dispensing,” said Ron Kieras, Product Development Director, R&D, GCS Americas. The flip top clicks to confirm closure.

According to Kieras, the HDPE bottle can be operated with one hand, encouraging on-the-go use. Additionally, the product does not need to be refrigerated, so it can travel without risk of spoilage.

The container holds 90 milliliters of creamer. The product comes in four flavors: Extra Sweet & Creamy, Hazelnut, French Vanilla and Peppermint Mocha.
