Furniture manufacturer Campaign has created a patent-pending folding design that allows its products to fit in smaller boxes. The company uses this smaller, custom product packaging to cut down on shipping costs for the consumer.

Campaign said it applied the idea of “less is more” to its furniture designs. It designed the furniture to fit in smaller boxes on standard UPS and FedEx trucks. According to the company, Campaign furniture ships in days and can be assembled in minutes.

Campaign furniture can be customized through its website. The first products feature changeable fabrics and leg shapes and finishes. All of the products are manufactured by Campaign in the US. Campaign said its furniture focuses on style and convenience.

Campaign furniture features materials like expanded polyolefin, laser cut tubing and high-performance fabric suspension. Campaign said it built its furniture to last, and also to facilitate frequent moves. According to the company, a person in the US is estimated to move 11.7 times in their lifetime. The set-up does not require tools, and the boxes have handles for easy transport. The design may appeal to transitional Millenials who like to avoid in-store furniture shopping.
