Just Goods, Inc. has launched JUST Water, its first product , in eco-friendly packaging in a paper-based ‘carton bottle’ from Tetra Pak.
The company said it is the first to use the Tetra Top® package, which consists of a square carton made from 53 percent paper, a high-density polyethylene top and a HDPE cap.
Just Goods’ website describes the eco-friendly packaging’s intended positive impact on the environment. According to the company, the carton is made mostly from a renewable resource that can be naturally regrown, and the material produces 52 percent less harmful emissions compared to a standard PET bottle. The bottle is 100 percent recyclable in areas that accept beverage cartons.
The 16.9-ounce carton bottle features a blue background and a white logo, shoulder and cap. The package has a six-layer lamination made of paper, low-density polyethylene and aluminum, which prevents sunlight from affecting the quality of the water, according to Just Goods.
Just Goods CEO Grace Jeon said:

The carton delivers a sleek, sustainable package that not only protects our great water, but is also compelling to our consumers.”
